Sleepy Café

Post by Auric Draco » Mon Nov 05, 2018 7:33 pm

A small sign hangs outside above the main entrance to the inn with the words Sleepy Café carved into it. This is a somewhat unsavory establishment known for its expensive and unique house specialty, the "Spider's Web," a lethal concoction of five varieties of hard alcohol, three fruit juices, and a drop or two of tincture of opium.
The Inn is a shabby four- story stone building with a basement and tower. It is located in the market district. Just below the sign is the mark of the local "House of Servant's."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Atmosphere: The air is filled with the smell of beef being smoked. The ambiance here is pretentious. The common room is lit only by sconces and a fire in the hearth. The clientèle of this establishment is lower-class. There is a Short-bow made of Acacia wood. It is a magical +2 and has an average craftsmanship SC 26).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Innkeeper: Keldak the Handsome is an idiot and has a rival inn he competes with. He wants to prove his love to his sister.

Fool's Abbey

Post by Auric Draco » Mon Mar 18, 2019 2:10 pm

The exterior of this building has a jutting wrought iron sign proudly displaying its name: Fool’s Abbey. This small, seedy little establishment is only known for its fighting stage, where fisticuffs and other sorts of matches are regularly scheduled.
The Inn is an old but a well-kept up 2 story stone building. It is located in the merchant's district. Just above the sign is the cities symbol.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Atmosphere: The air is filled with the smell of beef being Barbecued. The ambiance here is plain. The common room is lit only by sconces and a fire in the hearth. The clientèle of this establishment is working-class. There is a chimera head over the fireplace.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Innkeeper: Thalensti the Tall is carefree and has a shrewish wife.
I have a need for change/variety, I get this from trying different foods.
